I'm Kate La Trobe, a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and Certified ADHD Executive Functioning Coach, specialising in autism, ADHD and learning differences. I support children and the families around them as they navigate neurodivergence, and my aim in every home I work with is the same shift: from "what is wrong with me?" to "what in this environment isn't working?" We don't change the child. We change what surrounds them.
Evidence based: built on an executive functioning framework.
Neuroaffirming: strengths-based, never a fix.
Collaborative: the whole family, not only the child.
Relatable: led by a neurodivergent parent-coach.
Coaching is practical and collaborative, built on an executive functioning framework: getting started, managing time and priorities, holding information in mind, planning and following through, and regulating big emotions. For each area we look at how it shows up for your child, then build support that fits your real life: nothing generic, nothing hidden behind jargon.

Coaching is booked in packages rather than single sessions. I work in both pounds and rand, so pricing matches where you live, and we agree everything on the free call with no obligation.
No. This is coaching and consulting, not therapy. It is educational, practical, and skills-based. We are not processing trauma or providing clinical treatment. If you feel you or your child needs therapeutic support, I will always be honest with you about that and help you find the right referral.
No. Many families I work with are still awaiting assessment, or have never received a diagnosis. My approach is based on what I observe and what you are experiencing, not on a label.
Most sessions are held online. In-person sessions may be available depending on location and availability.
Yes. Many parents work through the programme independently. Where you can bring a co-parent or carer on board, the impact tends to be greater because strategies are consistent across the family, but it is not a requirement.
Yes. I work with families across both the UK and South Africa.
We will know before you commit. The first call is free, and it exists so we can both assess whether working together makes sense.
Every family's support looks different, so everything starts with a conversation.
